What are Buddiepacks?
The name of our company is BuddiePacks, LLC. We assemble and package the BuddiePacks™ brand
Activity Pack for kids. We retail the BuddiePacks™ packs here on our website, but we also wholesale them to
other online stores and 'bricks & morter' shops around the country.
You'll notice that
our website also retails a wide variety of other travel-related products for children and parents,
so please have a look around the site!
Is my credit card information safe?
Yes. Our shopping cart and payment is handled through PayPal, one of the leading and most trusted online
payment services. You don't even need a PayPal account. When you go to
checkout, PayPal will give you the option of just entering your credit card information.
This is all handled through PayPal's secure servers; none of your financial information
is collected by us or stored on our system.
How do you ship?
Our standard shipping is US Postal Service Priority mail. If you require shipping through
some other carrier, please email or call after you've placed your order. Additional
shipping charges may apply. Orders are usually processed and shipped within 2 business
days, and USPS Priority typically delivers in 2-3 business days, so you should have your
order within a week. We track all our shipments, and can provide you with a tracking
number if you call or email us.
How much is shipping?
Our shipping is based on quantity of items. The shopping cart will not show shipping
charges until you "proceed to checkout." At that time, you'll be prompted for a shipping
zip code and the shipping will be calculated and presented to you. Here is how shipping
is calculated:
1 Item: $6.50 2-5 Items: $11.00 6 or more items: $15.50
If you place an additional order before we've processed your first, we may be able to
reduce the shipping on the second order by shipping the orders together. Please call or
email.
Do I have to pay tax?
Depends. We are located in New Mexico, and thus the Department of Revenue requires that we collect
gross receipts tax (mistakenly referred to as sales tax) on items shipped to New Mexico.
If you are located outside of New Mexico, we do not collect tax on the order, but you
might be required to report such purchases at income tax time. Check with your state
taxation department.
I don't have a credit card...
Good for you! We applaud your ability to evade the credit trap, but it can present a problem
for purchasing online. You might also not be willing to use your credit card online. Our
payment processing service, PayPal, can also do 'bank transfers' which debit your checking
or savings account directly. Look for that option when you go to checkout your order.
Also remember that your checking debit card is often a Visa card as well, and can be used
like a credit card for online purchases.
No bank account? Or still concerned about online payment security? Call us and we can arrange
payment by mail using check or money order.
I want to return something
If your item is damaged or defective, we will send a replacement item at no cost to you, but
you might have to send the damaged/defective item back to us (depending on the vendor). You
will have to pay this shipping cost.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will accept the returned item within 30 days if
the item is in its original packaging and unused.
